    The Slits are a family comprised of three secreted glycoproteins that regulate neuronal axon guidance through interaction with the Robo receptors. They comprise of a string of four Leucin-rich repeat domains, six EGF-like domains, a laminin-G like domain flanked by three additional EGF-like domains and a cysteine-rich knot. 1
